The player levels up by consuming different types of smaller insects that give them relative stat boosts. Stat boosts are then transferred over to the new players spider once they are killed, growing stronger with each death.

MY ROLE & EXPERIENCE: Programming, Game Design, Assembly

Widower was born out of a Game Design course group project. We were given three random guidelines to adhere to: "Must be score-based", "Non-Linear game play", and "Death must be a main mechanic". 

My role was Game Designer as well as Programming with C# and assembly in Unity. With this project, I learned about creating a two player split screen game. 

MORE ABOUT THIS PROJECT:

- Take on the role as a male spider trying to grow your gene pool strong enough to be the first to survive mating with a female black widow!

- Avoid predators while you hunt and devour insects to level up your skills. 

- Seal those skills within your gene pool by mating with the female Black Widow in the center of the map. If you are eaten by a predator before you mate, you loose those skills forever. 

- Be the first to match the Black Widows strength to win the round!
